  I heard this place was not to be taken seriously but I decided to try it out anyway. I’ve been working with mid century furniture for quite some time and never have I seen it as overpriced as Main Street Mercantile’s. For example he was claiming his innacurately refurbished eames rocker was worth $1,200 but had it sitting out in the snow all day (along with other furniture including wooden tables and aphaulstered chairs going for $800). The legs were not even original metal and the design was not that of an original eames rocker whatsoever. Not to mention the store owner was rude and condescending. Not a pleasant experience and honestly a waste of time. He was having a 50% off sale because everything must go. Hm, I wonder why.
